ABOUT
US

At Celebration Bible Church, we are committed to the calling of the local church to be the family of God. As a result, we embrace the highs and lows, the joys and sorrows, the hopes and fears, the beauty and messiness and everything in between. We desire to be a multi-generational community where people of all ages and backgrounds can join together in following Jesus. We have a strong commitment to the Bible as the key to our relationship with God. At Celebration we desire to be formed by the Word of God by engaging deeply with Scripture to help us view the world through the lens of the gospel. Everything we do when we gather to worship in community is intended to help us embrace and put into practice our identity as the people of God and to celebrate His grace, mercy, goodness, justice and love.

CBC Beliefs

  • The Bible is the inspired Word of God.

  • There is one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit

  • Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and is fully God and fully man.

  • Apart from Christ, all of us by nature are sinners and are unable to do anything to earn God’s favor.

  • God saves us by His grace through the death of Christ on the cross for our sins. Salvation comes as a free gift from God through faith.

  • All those who have received salvation by faith are eternally secure in Christ.

  • The Holy Spirit is a Person. He convicts us of sin, regenerates, and indwells all believers from the moment of their salvation.

  • There is one church, the Body of Christ. All who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior are members of that church.

  • All Christians are called by God to live free from sin through the power of the Holy Spirit.

  • Christ rose bodily from the dead and we will too. The unsaved will be raised to eternal punishment and believers will be raised to spend eternity in God’s presence.

  • As sinners saved by God’s grace we have a duty to share with others the good news of salvation. We should do so with those we come in contact with and to those elsewhere through our participation in missions.

More material on what we believe and why is available at the church. Also, feel free to call with questions at (616) 538-8876.
